Travel makes a few happy, while the other few feel it burdensome. Whichever side you are, TRAVELLING is unavoidable. So look for the fun stuffs in it and try to cherish your travel and your life even more. Get some great stories to tell when returning from your vacation, inspire others to do the same, be the TRAILBLAZER in your group. BE THE AWESOME TRAVELLER.
And hey, not just travelling, the other things attached to it also has the equal amount of impact on your JOURNEY. Because travel is full of pitfalls. One wrong step and your vacation could be ruined by a bad hotel room, an overpriced restaurant, a frustrating afternoon, at a tourist-trap attraction or an overnight flight crammed in the middle seat. Yes, Whatever be the reason, Planning the trip and getting it done rightly is important, that’s what the essence of a pro-traveller.
Gets you Real life education
What’s in the book is fine, but what you learn while you explore is pure pleasure. Meeting different people from vast cultures and societies provides an education that is impossible to get in a traditional school, college or a university. The actual experience is what counts. There is no substitute for the real thing. You grow while you travel, and that’s the expansion of your education.
JUST LET YOURSELF GO. Either way you stay serious and busy at work, so when in a vacation let loose yourself. No matter how young or old you are, no matter your profession, there is always a time when the child in you wants to have some fun. When you travel, you do not care what you do at all and you can just break free from the norm. This is the time to chill out and make some beautiful memories (Sometimes Funny memories too)
Breaking out of your shell
The core reasons to travel is that you discover a lot about yourself. Now I’m not talking about taking a family trip to Imagica, Disney world, or Universal studios. When I speak of a special vacation, I envision someone backpacking and getting all ready to jump off. A trip with lots of excitement, adventure, or may be cultural significance and heritage for that matter. Not many things in the world can inspire you like seeing, The Grand Canyon, The great wall of china, Taj Mahal, Australian kangaroos, Chinese Cuisine, or the Glowing beach in Maldives (The List is Infinite).
And on that note, it is said – traveling is known to provide people with envisaged vision, a whole new perspective, whether that means no longer sweating the small stuff or promising to get out there and meet new people upon returning home. Those who have left their comfort zone and headed for a foreign land have done the right thing because there is nothing like a trip to make you a new man who has no choice but to transform for himself. Whether alone, with a partner, or in a group, your development surely speeds up when you’re in a foreign land. Keep up the spark, and EXPLORE!
Stories to tell your children and grandchildren when we are old.
During travelling you may experience the craziest, most exciting things, that will eventually become great stories that you can tell others. When you grow old and look back at your life and all your travel experiences, you will realise how much you have done in your life and your life was not in vain. It can provide you with happiness and satisfaction for the rest of your life.
Satisfying your stomach
As in my previous article I wrote about being “Forever Foodie” and the benefits of being one. The travel also goes on the same line, Food is the essence of travel and the HEART of it. Food can make or break a vacation. If it’s bad, it will surely put a negative spin on your stay. Sure you can buy the same stuffs in your local area but they cannot replace what you can find in their respective native lands, there is some pure MAGIC attached to it.
The Food is like a cherry on the cake. It makes your travel experience worth it. In fact, the perfect dinner can make your stay complete; many insist that you cannot leave a certain city without trying a renowned dish, whether you’re in India, America, Europe or for that matter anywhere in the world
Admiring the true beauty of Nature
Whether you’re a lover of history, architecture or nature, only travel will satisfy your passion. No words can describe the rush you feel when gazing upon the Mona Lisa or the taj mahal’s beauty.
Being able to say that you’ve seen four of the Seven Wonders of the World or some of the most important historical landmarks, is a claim like no other, and should make you incredibly proud. At the same time, these feats enrich your life. The Picture says it all. That’s should be in your TREASURE BOX.
“A traveller without observation is a bird without wings.” – Moslih Eddin Saddi. Getting your patience level up
Relish your WAITING period.
WAITING! WAITING! WAITING! Travel can involve a lot of waiting. You’ll wait in lines, for flights or at restaurants. Learning how to cope with those waits, how to make conversation with those you’re waiting with and how to stay calm in frustratingly slow situations will teach you how to remain patient and calm in all situations. Stay calm and engross in a conversation with your loved ones.
Unforgettable Moment and Experiences.
Some of our most cherished memories are from the times when I was travelling. If you travel, you can experience things that you could never experience at home. As it is rightly said by some great personality, that TRAVEL increases your HORIZON. You may see beautiful places and landscapes that do not exist where you live. You may meet people that will change your life, and your thinking. You may try activities that you have never tried before. You may involve in several other things, getting your first experience or re-relishing your old memories.
